Does the compressor come on if you set the temp to "LO" or push the defroster button? If it does, it could indicate a problem with the interior temp sensor.

Also, have you run the ACC Diagnostic (press Auto and Off simultaneously)?

A Tech 2 could possibly help sort it out.
