the sifnal is put on the bus to the ECU
You must have
condenser pressure below 27 bar and above 1.75 bar
Then there are some temps in the condenser and outside air that have to be met [ consult the WIS for details]
If all of this is good at the ACC, it sends a signal through the bus to the Trionic ECU to ground the relay and turn on the magnetic compressor clutch. there is overheating protection on the clutch as well.....so if this is not working you need a new compressor. Feed 12vdc directly to the compressor and see if it runs and cools the system.
