Howdy.
First re: dash indicator lights -- in an '88 is there a cruise control light to indicate that the system is active? My cruise works fine, but there is no dash light...
Second re: dash indicator lights -- my shift up light does not light up (I know that for many of you, you prefer it that way), but I have this Type A personality quirk that makes me desire to have everything in my 182,000 mile car work just so... The fuse is in place and is not blown and I know that there are a million things it could be, but could it be related to the cruise indicator light (if I have a cruise indicator light)?
Third re: other lights -- are the sunroof, heated seats, and/or power window switches supposed to be lighted?
Fourth re: turn signal lever -- my car doesn't like to indicate that it's going to turn right (the lever falls back down) and though I understand that it is the shoulder of the joint that is worn away preventing it from staying in place, after removing the lower trim piece under the steering wheel, I am able to remove the bottom screw holding the lever in place, but I have not been able to figure out how to get to the upper screw holding the top of the switch in place... Any suggestions.
Thanks TSN folks for your help!!!
