I just removed the winshield wiper switch and had the same problem. I ended up taking out the dash screws all along the bottom and by pulling out, up, and back on the dash I was able to get the screw. a torks screw driver with a thin shaft will work best. It dosnt look fun to get back together after I get the new switch from the junk yard I'll find out. Good luck!
