I spent approx. one month going back and forth with emails with Russ. I wanted some used convertible rugs he had for an Edwardian grey color interior. He sent me a picture of the rugs sitting outside from about 10 feet away. In the picture they looked good. I specifically told him in our first email that the rugs needed to be without holes of any type, but that I had no problem re-dying them if need be. He assured me that there were no holes. After a month of back and forth, the rugs arrived. You couldn't see it in the pictures he sent, but there was a tear in the rug right next to the heel pad on drivers side. It was big enough that I was able to put my fist thru it. I emailed him and asked why he wouldn't disclose the fact that the rug was torn in the most obvious of places. I asked him if the sale was more important to him than his reputation. Long story short, I'm out $60.00 and put the rug to the curb with that week's trash pickup. Maybe I caught him on a bad week, I don't know. I'd hate to think he just outright lied to me, but how do you miss a hole in the drivers foot area that you can put your fist thru?? Moral, at least for me; Last time I deal with Russ Parsons.... Bob T.
