Mine ('87 base model) has 230,000 miles. Runs great. A joy to drive, still, after all these years. Not a rattle. Recently looked up in online sales site. Many for sale with 150,000 to 200,000 miles so they can't be all bad. Parts are expensive and service network is unreliable (some places are great and others are terrible), so some owners may chose to skip service. In the life of an old Saab, you will undoubtedly need to replace front-end parts, rotors, but that's part of life with any old car. The engines last forever if you take care of them. I love mine.
