...only tells TCS not to intervene (a very nice idea given the intrusiveness of TCS -- try pulling out into traffic on slushy roads with TCS bringing you to a complete stop!).
However, TCS is still integrated into everything your car does, the throttle is still fly-by-wire, and anything out of whack in the electronics will still cause limp home mode.
All you've done is change the way TCS behaves, you haven't truly bypassed it.
