Peter: There is usually a collar or something on the impact driver to change from "tighten" to "loosen". If it will not undo another bolt it must be tightening it. I find "Liquid Wrench" works well. Can you spray some down around the bolt so it runs into the thread ? As a last resort perhaps you could drill off the head (I assume the bolts are torx socket heads like my 86 ?) Once you get the head off you can get some heat nearer the bolt threads and with some Liq. Wrench and vice grips or small pipe wrench it should come off easy. But check your impact driver 1st.Do you still have the instructions ?
