Complete blockage of the exhaust would kill the motor and me trying to pop the clutch was forcing more puressure into the exhaust and that back fire was not a back fire but the blockage blowing apart with in the muffler or out the tail pipe.
The guy I bought it from mentioned that the exhaust was custom fabricated by the guy he.got it from, perhaps there was something like a jake brake fabricated with in the muffler to cause slight back puressure to further up the hp of the motor, and with the super high revs the exhaust flow is at its max and this custom fabrication malfunctioned causing complete blockage & After the boom of it disslogging everything is fine. Would explain the excess smoke immediately after restart also.
My 9-5 needs to have the key turned to the fully off position then to run before it will restart after an engine failure the 9000 might be the same being there was no referring of the motor when popping the clutch.
currently the car runs as if nothing ever happend. Super strange and to put a figure on the problem complete exhaust blockage fits really well.
