Here's what's freaking me out about this: A couple guys at the repair shop were certain of the smell coming through ACC as coolant, but when removing the carpet, no dampness, and there's no fogging of the windows. But most of all, I just don't understand how heater core could have me smelling that strongly ONLY when I am stopped, and not when moving, which has been for a couple months now. I do have the large crankcase ventilation hose (that goes to the turbo manifold) which leaks a little due to the fitting being broken, and I think that carries a coolant line? But that just leaves a small reside that is hard to imagine blowing back through the cabin filter to make strong smell.
