Just pull the plug, and remove the old external voltage regulator... A friend is going through the same thing right now, and Scanwest said to just forget the old one. The external is the same as the internal, just extended out on an umbilical. The internal is a direct replacement with no wiring modifications.How much does one of those 70 amp units go for? My lights dim more than I like when the fan comes on, and I am about to install a stereo, so that is not going to help. Let me know where you got it too. Thanks.
