LJB, If you haven't already purchased the new alternator, you might consider going with a GM alternator. You can get the same upgrade for a lot less money, and you can get the harness connector at any parts store. I've done numerous 6v conversions, generator upgrades, and alternator upgrades with them. Ask any Hot Rodder....the easiest and cheapest way to go. The benefits are numerous. It will bolt right in and look factory.
