My engine ran one day, and slowly died. That was it! never started again. Every now and then, it coughs whilst cranking.
After going through the D jet system, I feel the problem is not in the fuel. I feel the fuel coming up if I hold the fuel supply/rail line.
I removed the valve cover, and saw that the chain was a bit floppy( the portion of the chain nearer to the exhaust manifold) I wondered if it somehow skipped a tooth. I did not check the timing marks, for I did not have a suitable wrench to place on the nut.
I removed the spark plugs held them to ground, and there is indeed spark.
My questions are... 1. Is it possible that the condenser is bad depsite I am getting spark? Poor timing??
2. What is the best way to turn the engine over? I wish to avoid the flywheel area as it is kind of tight.
Thanks for any help
