I have Pirelli P6000 tires on mine. I know that previously people had problems with whatever the old tires were. I will replace these tires when they get a little more worn down (they only have 3,500 miles on them). They are pretty grippy and do well in the rain.
The torque steer problem is interesting. Today, I entered the freeway through an onramp that gets its own lane, which then becomes an exit-only lane. In order to pass people to get out of this lane and enter the freeway, I went quite fast in second and third gear. There was no torque steer at all. However, other times I have quite a bit of torque steer in second gear (particularly) and even third gear. For instance, there's one hill where I always have torque steer if I give the car enough gas in second gear. If you drive the car politely, the TS is never a problem. The problem occurs when you really haul butt AND when there's something about the road that exacerbates the TS.
I will change tires, although I'm not sure when and to which tires. I'll probably put the Viggen Rescue Kit on first, then Koni's (which I don't think will affect the TS), then tires.
