S4 a lot more powerful than a Viggen?

It has only about 20 more hp and the same torque. Plus, it's several hundred more pounds. Granted, the awd system is a big benefit, but I wouldn't say that the S4 is "a lot" more powerful than a Viggen. On dry roads where the Viggen can be kept in 3rd gear, it'd be dead even and up to who is the better driver.
My problem with Audi is that you have to spend a lot to get sportiness, and then the car doesn't look sporty. And, it's less functional than a 9-3. The S4 was in the running when I chose the Viggen, but the Viggen looks way better in my opinion, has more rear seat room, more head room, and the hatchback system rocks (I do have to note that, at the time, a station wagon --aka avant-- was out of the question for me).
The Audi is better in its choice of interior looks and materials (except the way the dash lights up -- Saab is simple and the "night panel" is great; Audi tends to be on the obnoxious side), and probably rides better.
For both these cars, you should take a rear-facing child seat and put it in the back. That way you'll know which one fits the kid in there.
