The fiber bus is the "Infotainment" bus, or 'O' bus, per Saab literature.
This bus connects together the following:
EHU - Entertainment Head Unit (the actual "radio" behind the ACC panel)
ICM - Infotainment Control Module (the thing with the display or preset buttons in the dash face)
CDF or CDCF - CD player front, or CD changer front
CDCR - CD changer rear (yes, you can have two changers...)
AMP1 - front speaker amplifiers
AMP2 - rear speaker amplifier
CU/PU or CUPU - Communication unit (i.e. GSM phone or OnStar in the USA)
DVD - DVD unit (for the Nav system which the USA won't get, at least for a while.
Fortunately, no critical operational part of the car is compromised - like the airbags...
It is very dangerous to just start clipping wires inside a modern-day car. you never know what the consequences might be.
