If you can get these spliced for under $200 I will be amazed. In addition, splicing machines are the size of a small suitcase, so if you can get that into the footwell and manage to work on it, you are likely to be a contortionist! (if there is enough slack to pull the cables away from the dashboard housing.)
Go to Saab, tell them that your dog/cat/gerbil ate the fibres and pay for a proper repair that won't invalidate the vehicle warranty. Saab may also have to reset the Infotainment system following the repair.
