I agree. I lost my DI one night a 11pm. Check my post about it. Luckily I was at my parents. Left the car there and used another car in the meantime. Bid on a DI cassette on ebay. A few days later got it and installed. Back in business. I am really thinking of getting one as a spare down the road. When I have the spare $. As for the plug gab theory, I really don't buy it. Sorry. I had relatively new plugs in and they where properly gaped at the time. Now, I didn't recheck, but I don't believe the gap would have changed in less then a year. Plus, IMHO, if it was a gab issue, more would fail - don't you think? Or it should have failed before I changed the plugs when the previous plugs where at the end of their life and the gap would have been off a bit.
Just my thoughts.
