No, you do not want any aluminum. What I meant to convey is that when the aluminum wear metals are low, one needs to consider that elevated silicon then probably cannot be explained by piston wear with the low aluminum. This then makes one consider that the silicone might be from road dust getting past the air filter. Some dust is fine enough to get through any filter.
Are the levels of Si of concern? Perhaps not at all. But you can have a close look at your intake system the next time are are in there or inclined, so check if all appears well. Some grease on the filter perimeter can help if thats an issue. K&N sells that, but I have never seen this product at the local parts shops.
