The road pictured in my other post is in Colorado. Berthoud Pass. I actually haven't driven that road, but I've driven ones like it.
Well said on the issue of turning and shifting. I'm still not sold on any car with a torque converter for truly engaged driving, trigger-shifters or not!
My 9000 Aero with three pedals does the trick, though!
Favorite drives, in no particular order:
Hwy 212, Beartooth Pass, MT/WY
Hwy 120, Tioga Pass, CA
Hwy 49, Placerville->Sierraville, CA
Hwy 1, most any place, CA
Hwy 20, North Cascades, WA
Going to the Sun Road, Glacier National Park, MT
Hwy 40, Donner Summit, CA
And a bunch of others.
Picture: Hwy 40, Donner Lake (Of the Donner Party), and the Rainbow Bridge, CA.
