Dan: I drove from southcentral MI to northcentral PA and back last week. Also,a year ago, I bought an '02 Arc wagon in Phila and drove it back. For the eastbound leg, you could try the tpk all the way and come back on 476 & 80. Last week, I took 80 back from Williamsport and there were no problems. It's not that 80 is bereft of services at the exits; it's just that there are fewer there than on 94 in MI. Incidentally, I've found that taking 23 S from A2 to 475 shortly after entering OH to 75 (_south_) to 280 to the OH tpk is a good road and eliminates any surface street travel. Another incidentally, if you were to take the 80-476 rte going E and the tpk back W, you'll save $2-3 on tpk tolls, i.e., you pay going E and don't pay going W from exit 28 to the OH line. Regardless, it's a pretty trip. One person mentioned PA rte 6 and it is, indeed, full of gorgeous scenery. Also, I agree w/ the suggestion that you stop in Bethlehem to see the old homes and the casino that's now open in the old Bethlehem Steel plant. (I went to Lehigh many years ago and the whole area is quite pleasant, casino or not.) DKH
