I visit GTA several times a year and friends always warn me about the 150 kph rule. Trouble is, I am used to keeping a long distance to the car in front, which is not something the locals tolerate. I am contantly cut off and the person just sits 30 feet in front of me, so I am constantly forced to slow to keep my distance (usually 200 feet,) which starts the sequence again. I have found this happens in GTA, unless I go faster than 150 and then I have no problem keeping my distance, since I go faster then everybody else. I am not used to the terrible congestion, I guess. Where I live we have beautiful winding roads with little traffic.

Yeah, the fuel consumption must be terrifying. I often see loaded lanscaping trucks going 100 mph, which must cost the business owner a pretty penny.
