Rumors from the Alfa magazine/clubs.... Posted by REM in Seattle [Email] (#4) [Profile/Gallery] (more from REM in Seattle) on Thu, 31 May 2001 11:00:35 In Reply to: Alfa Romeo/FIAT returning to America?, D', Wed, 30 May 2001 18:23:02 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Alfa club rumors have the Alfa Spider and Coupe not coming to the USA until 2005. Something about a car marque legally needing to be out of the country for 10 years or the new importer has to assume the liabilies of the old importer.
Anyway, the Alfisti also claim that Alfa will be sold by Ferrari dealers because of the training, diagnostic tools, and parts pipeline.
Great rumors but let's see what really happens. Either way, I am eager for a new SAAB or Alfa 2-seat roadster.
