I think it's time that myself & some other EE types that enjoy fast cars start designing a counter-system: ie, a device that "you" push a button and the ingnition/FI system of any car directly behind you shuts down or is destroyed. I know for a fact that the current systems are not EMI protected, ao a large enough jolt of microwaves will probably do the trick. (It would probaably toast all the electronics in the car.) This could also be designed to do the same to the red-light cameras & radar/lidar guns.
A jammer/spoofer device could also be divised to either jam the on-star-GPS system or fool it to it's location by providing spurious inputs that over-ride the real sat. transmissions.
Just a thought from one w. an enherent dose of mis-trust for our elected (purchased) officials............
