TCS wouldn't help much in racing

I pulled out in heavy traffic and spun the inside tire trying to get up to speed. I let off the gas for a moment to let the tire stop spinning. Well..when I pressed the pedal again it was dead. The TCS cut power and the oncoming traffic was on my bumper. I will never have TCS on again in tight traffic situations! It's much safer to regulate traction with my foot, as I've done in the spg for years. TCS is great but it's very slow to react and can be scary at times. I doubt tcs would react fast enough to be useful on the track. When it cuts power..it thinks about it for awhile before giving power back. Now the problem is TCS is activated again every time I start the viggen. I'm really tired of a "big brother" computer deciding what's best for me. IF I want the lights and tcs on or off I should be trusted to operate a switch in my own car!
