If you apply the brake to the spinning wheel..the stock differential will force the power to the wheel with traction. Unless, of course, the tire with traction has more traction than your brake pads. THe problem is it's less efficient because it will overheat the brakes more than you'd get with a lsd. Having a brake/throttle controlled traction control is also much cheaper (for saab) than a real lsd. All the needed components are already on the car used for ABS braking, like electronic brake booster and wheel spin sensors. All they have to do is program the computer.
