Hey, 9000RED... don't get me wrong, I haven't yet had a chance to drive his S2K, but from my first ride I gathered the handling is amazing. And I agree most folks will never experience the cars pull because they'll upshift before things get snappy. I used to do a bit auto-x in my way-too-big-to-win SHO and was thrilled to find that if I kept it between 4k-7k for the bulk of the race the car's personality completely changed. My docile daily commuter turned manic and aggressive. Thougth this would be an interesting comparison because the hp/torque approaches are diametrically opposed between S2k & Viggen. I'm not kidding myself, the S2k is pure sport & the Viggen is sport-sedan. If you get a chance, run a Viggen through some paces. But switch your brain to shift & mash the gas early; peak torque hits at 2500 and holds to 4500. FYI-- in the Viggen, there is no perceptible turbo lag. As for torque steer, yes it's there but I'm used to it and find it manageable... heck it's part of the personality.
