we've mentioned it here before but the idea hasn't launched. a few months ago there was a healthy string discussing the C900 tranny. i remember Jak saying how Honda etc. do internal bracing of the shafts to eliminate internal deflection, so why aren't we attempting to band together as lovers of the classic 900 and work on this? of course aluminum is tough to weld but there are several shops that must be able to implement a good design.
it just seems to me that internal work is where to spend the dough. i would be willing to be part of the effort and, although i am relatively new to the saab scene in the last several years i think there is potential. i don't think the diff is the costly problem. it's internal shaft flex. no? winter is coming...good time to focus?
