Sony adapter works well Posted by Slaab [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Re: Monster FM Converter is another option, Scott, Tue, 23 May 2006 16:58:02 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
After trolling the Ipod forums, it seems the Sony branded adapters are the prferred Cassete adapters. I specifically sought out a Sony unit, and I am fairly pleased with it. It operates so quietly in the deck (almost silent) that I can't detect it unless I turn the volume all the way down and the car is not moving.
I previously used an Ipod Mini (wife's) with an iTrip transmitter, but I didn't care for it that much. It was a hassle to find a clear, unused frequency at times. The cassette adapter allows me to simply plug it in, and hit "tape" as the source.
I agree that a hardwire solution is the bset option for sound quality, but ease of use, installation and cost were a driving factor for me.
