multiple pathways - not just one arc

Hey All
I have been fortunate enough to have owned/driven great cars that have provided enormous satisfaction (1996 Nissan 300ZX turbo, 1997 Honda prelude 200hp, 1998 BMW 3-series, 2001 Audi TT quattro 225hp, Subaru WRX, BMW 540i, Superformance 427 Cobra Replica 352 Windsor) albeit through very different engineering pathways - all have been a hoot to drive and modify. Some were high rpm spinners that you had to keep on the boil, others like the Bimmers were torquey throughout the rev range. My current car (2002 Saab Aero) is a different blend of performance, luxury and safety. I have only had the car a month (new exhaust, wheels, tires), but am amazed at the balance and poise of this car when pushed - yet still returning 30+ mpg at highway cruise. Cheers to the cadre of great cars that we have to choose from... I got my license in the bad old days (1975) where performance meant 145hp from a 360 cid motor! Honestly, my first vehicle was 1976 Ford F-250 4x4 and that was the factory "high-output" motor for that year...ugh! We may very well be at the end of the fossil fuel era for personal transportation - this may very well be as good as it gets - so enjoy!
Peace
Eric
