why do the other cars need more power for the same or worse performance? And I'm not talking about useless 0-60 times, but the all important midrange accelerations.
HP is for poseurs, performance is for people who know better.
Our 9000CS 2.0 ex-LPT with ~220-230 hp is actually a bit quicker to 110 mph than a 540i 6-spd. It also does 160 mph indicated without a problem....
