I don't know where we are supposed to be going, but I thought it was an innocent question, just trying to get some opinions on how people feel late model 9-5 engines match up with each transmission. For what it's worth, I have driven manual cars for the last 20 years (mostly Japanese) and raced karts and motorcycles until a few years ago. I am not sure that a manual car confers "real" car status, especially if the manual is not very good and the car is not used at a track. I 'll search again for previous posts on the subject.
