I traded my 2000 Aero 5 speed manual in on a 2003 Aero 5 speed auto.
the auto is easier to get across the intersection quicker (in Sport) but after that, it's all better in the manual. The manual accelerates faster at all situations past 20 MPH.
More importantly the turbo lag/ down shift delay is maddening on aggressive accel on a twisty road. This was true of all the auto Aeros at the Aero Academy also. I could almost always time "dropping the hammer" with the manual to avoid accel delay.
The next one will be manual
