Does the locking nut sits on top??
I did remove a nut that sits on top, then the screw itself wouldn't turn at all. Shot a little WD40 on it and still wouldn't move, and i didn't force it as it appears that the screw wants to split if i force it.
I then went to put the nut back on top but it wouldn't fit (as the screw splitting widened it a bit). Rather than mess with it, i just threaded the bolt on the bottom of the screw, making sure it was high enough on the threads to not effect the throttle stop, and this way the screw would be there when i go back to figure all of this out!! (oh, the frustrations of becomeing a DIYer)
I also need to replace the plastic valve piece that sits on top of the throtle body (as it was "rigged" with sealent from an old repair job which i didn't know) and when i pulled on it, i realized it's condition. What is the name of this plastic valve (or is it a nipple?) that connects a vacuum hose to the PVC valve? It's this a "saab only" piece that i'll need to get from a sponsor, or can i just get it at a local Pep Boys (i'd rather not wait for shipping, but did use the sponsors for my tune up supplies).
