The very first time they replaced my pulley and sensor I drove the car for about a month and the sensor slowly "slipped" which caused the cars performance to degrade slowly over time (2 hours) resulting in my car not going over 45 mph. Dealer redid sensor and all was well except that around 2200 rpm the car would shutter badly (would not stay at a constant rpm - would increase and decrease abruptly). They adjusted the sensor or timing is what I thought they said. Since then no issues (been 1 year). Only in the last few day when I cleaned the distributer cap contacts that I noticed the spark marks on the copper contacts inside the cap were on the very edge almost to the point that if they were any farther then their would be no contact. Shouldn't the spark mark be closer to the middle of the copper contacts in the cap?
