Most Saab enthusiasts already know from the start that sooner or later, their C900 is going to need transmission work. Newbies to our "club" don't realize this until it's too late and then complain about how much they suck. Drive it right or drive it wrong, the transmission will more often than not be the weakest link in the car. We all except that fact when we sign the title.
The one thing that we have that the Japanese contingent doesn't is character. Painting your car lime green does not give it character. :)
