Is to have the pump PULL the oil from the cooler. That way, you are only dealing with cooled oil. I talked to Josh at Scanwest Auto, and he rec'ed a pump that only delt up to 300deg it was the one that he used in the rally car he drove. I am almost positive that we should not need to worry too much about getting over 300deg if it is hooked up in the order.
As far as inlet and outlet is concerned, I am having a second rear tranny plate sent to me, and I am then going to take it to a machine shop to have the approperiate nipples added to the plate (3/8").
As far as hoses go, I plan to go with either braied stainless or high pressure 3/8" line, then running it through some 1/2" line to insulate it from the road hazards and other abrasions.
