...to encourage flow through the tranny? My concern is that oil will eddy if the intake and output holes are too close, preventing cooling of the rest of the tranny. Josh make any recommendations or is he the one just using one plate? Maybe my fear is theoretical and not applicable in the real world. Intake and output lines should be well below the air line to prevent frothing/bubling, I would think. Where does he place his?
If he uses the 300F unit on a rally car I guess it is ok, but how often does he change it? How long a period of time does he rally (24 hour vs say 6 or 12), and when it fails does it spit parts and require a filter behind it to stop the parts from spreading joy in the tranny?
I am playing Devil's advocate to make sure that when I do this I get it right the first time. Hope you don't mind.
