I have to agree with you and DIM33 on this. IMO the 9000 series (93 and later) is hte perfect car design. It has the smoothness/luxury to be a family sedan. Lower the seats and you have a 1st class cargo hauler. It has the sportiness (esp the aero) that should satisfy most driving enthusiasts.
Granted it is not the most luxurious nor is it a true sports car. But as an overall design it can't be beat. I'm just sad that Saab stopped making them. At the very least they should make a 9-5 Hatch. The wagon is to stodgy looking for me, and the sedan just won't haul as much stuff.
