I have a 2000 9-3 with 54,000 miles on it (4,000 past the warranty) and was just informed by the dealer that the impellor in the turbo broke and shot pieces into the engine. This caused damage to the first and forth cylinders. They told me it will cost $9,000 for a new engine and turbo. Anybody else have any similar problems??? I love my Saab, but need need to look into the lemon laws because I don't have $9,000 to drop on a new engine and turbo. Would appreciate any advice or contacts at Saab. You can contact me at quinns@pacbell.net - Thanks - Bill
