Hey, I can empathize with you. I've had serious problems with GM before regarding a GMC Denali. They are total idiots about it. I hope you arent in the Washington, DC area because the regional rep here did not care at all and there is no direct way to contact him, I tried everything.
It sounds like your situation is similiar, but be careful if you get sent over to GM. The way their organizaiton is setup is kind of matrix-like so they will try and bounce you around a lot between the regional rep for GM on the GM side, and the Saab line reps on the division side.
Morale is to just go to your lawyer and have him/her write an action letter detailing your intent to sue for $100. On the top of the letter make sure you CC a lot of people. I did Motor Trend, Car and Driver, Road and Track, Washington Post, New York Times, LA Times, CEO of GM, COO of GMC Trucks, GM regional rep, owner of dealership, service manager at dealership. This was effective once the owner of the dealership saw how big of a deal I was going to make out of it. Trust me, they dont want the hassle over a measly to them $100, but you should pursue it out of principle.
Oh yea, and I wouldnt recommend taking your car back there ever after doing this. I dont trust car dealers to being with let alone after a major disagreement with them.
Contact me if you need anything.
