Roger... With all due respect, if you can't afford an expensive "performance" vehicle (that isn't known for rock solid reliability) when it was new then why buy it used? Especially if you're stretching your wallet.
The cost of fixing Saabs is high, the aftermarket suppliers are fewer than VW's/Audi's/Honda/etc and the circumstances of tweaking the performance when you don't understand the consequences are great.
Yeah, that $35 Dawes Boost controller is a heck of a deal... UNTIL you damage your engine or tranny. Then the fun stops and the wallet comes out.
All I want is for people to hear both sides of the story. There are people out there (like me) who have been driving and fixing NG900's for years and know the weaknesses...
I predict the turbo and tranny "rebuilders" are in for a huge windfall in the future... ;-)
