The reviews for Saab's 9-5 and the new 9-3SS have been overall good to very good. They've received distinctions from JD Powers, Kiplingers, Consumer Reports, NY Times, MSN, Car & Driver, Autoweek, etc. The idea that Saab's are not well thought of in the auto press is mistaken. You can bet some of these articles have helped bring new people into the Saab dealers and helped them make sales. I am one. Just look at this board. Check out the average age of the 9-5 driver on this board--30s. I had no idea that like myself at 31 there were that many people in this age range. You can bet we're information people and research said reviews before making a purchase. And, you can bet that if my 9-5 ends up sucking I'll submit and just buy an E class/BMW5.
But, the issue is Saturn.
I couldn't find any official quality reports that I've previously read but this is a fun start...
