Well, I always said drag racing was a waste of time but BOY WAS I WRONG! It was so fun. My reaction times stink, and I either bog down or spin out at the start but it was still alot of fun. Best I could manage was a 15.53 at 89.8mph. Keep in mind I had a reaction time of .596 Most of the other "pros" had reaction times less than .2 I only went three times but I will try again in a few weeks. My friend and I went with our saabs, we felt so out of place with our 100% stock 97 900t (mine) and 96 9k Aero. Another thing that might have lowered my times was the fact that I wouldnt dare spin the Michelins to warm them up, didnt want to ruin them. Any one else have any 1/4 mile times? Id be interested to see what these cars can do when someone who knows what they are doing is behind the wheel. One last thing, there are so many peices of junk at these events. Rusted old crap boxes but boy can they burn up the quarter.
