... hence my vote for retaining the 5th injector set up. I am pretty sure I don't want to go to an aftermarket ECU though - spending lots of $$$ to solve a problem in a very defined area of the rpm/load map, only to run into problems the 98% of the time that I'm _not_ exceeding the capabilities of the stock ECU, problems that the factory solved in a very satisfactory way 17 years ago using far more ressources than I'll ever have, does not really sound that appealing to me. Remember, I am not buildinga one trick pony (such as a 1/4 mile/traffic light dragster) but something that will be an improvement on the standard car, judged as a sports saloon,in every direction. So no - I'm not planning on 300+ hp as I'm pretty sure it would far exceed the capabilities of the basic c900 chassis (not to mention the driver ;-) After all, this will still be a road car no matter how many track days and advanced driving courses I plan to do with it. I'm not planning to drive it there on the back of a truck, so street driveability and fuel efficiency still count for a lot.
As always, YMMV
Merry Christmas and Happy Saabing,
Eric
