One simple question regarding this turbo intake pipe mod with stock SW and your comments,
How did the T7 in this case come to the conclusion that the reduction in ariflow measured via MAF is acceptable? We know it should boost to a target airmass, which for B235R is roughly 27lbs/min at 5500
Just like you worte above the T7 knows only inputs and has no idea about engine output, torque/power. The way I see it, loaded air adaption was caused by the new HW part which T7 could not cope with. If this would not have been the case we would have seen the same airmass prior and after the mod. Like you said the ECU does not know anything about power/torque, so it cant "think" "no we have a slitly better VE lets lower the target airmass"
Second quostion, can you give me a rough estimate how many HP do you think will be lost if HW in this case would have remained std and we would have seen the same airmass drop?
