Salutations:

Helloo Dean. Sorry, I was not clear. I do not want to vary pressure by individual gears - I want the pressure curve to remain the same regardless of gear.

Basically, as I have it now, I have reversed the shorted BPC solenoid so as to use the default failure mode to provide unlimited boost rather than base boost. This has the advantage that I retain the original high gear boost curve across all gears by using the OEM air circuits and vents that make up the mechanical aspects of the Trionic 5 BPC.

I know that I have also removed several other protection systems - limited boost in first and second gear for example. More importantly for the moment, I do not have any system overboost protection other than paying attention to the boost gauge - recognizing of course that Trionic fuel cut out happens *after* a knock is detected. Run to fuel cut enough times and you kill your engine/turbo off exactly as you would doing it once for too long.

However - if I understand what is actually happening in the system as it sits now - I think I need to come up with a really good diaphragm type bleed valve on the waste gate line (?) so that it runs to a preset pressure (say 12psi), then reliably hold that steady until I let off the gas. With the OEM BPC in place as it now stands - I can run well above any pressure I would want and comes up quickly enough for me all gears too.

So - I am going to try some experimental tomorrow using a good quality "relief type regulator". The unit claims that it will bleed off extra pressure through the regulator above the set pressure and flow air at 16scfm (which should be a close match to the internal channels and vents in the BPC as I saw them).

Now - as I have said - I could be completely going down the wrong trail here. So, I will report in with details as I have them. More to the point, if you stumble across this and have some further thoughts - please, please, don't be shy about kicking them in.
