The BCM should cut power to the glove box after 20 minutes and the rear electrical center (REC) should cut power to the trunk light.
The electrical architecture in this car is like nothing anyone has ever built before. There are four fuse and relay panels and three of them have CPU's inside of them that can communicate with tech2 and store fault codes, etc. The underhood electrical center (UEC) is where you found fuse 30. It feeds the instrument panel electrical center (IPEC). The REC is in the left side of the trunk behind the pull down carpet panel.
What SAAB has done is to eliminate hundreds of feet of wiring with this system.
If fuse 30 stops the draw then the IPEC is the next place to go.
On a sad note, I regret to inform everyone that the fuse panel covers on new 9-5's are blank. They don't even show the numbering system much less the function of fuses. It would not be so bad, but they have fuse A,B, and C along with 16A and 16B, so simple counting from one won't work.
