20years, My job takes me away from the car for 4 to 5 days at a time. I always mesure the voltage when I return and so for it has been able to start the car after 5 days but the voltage has been around 11.5. I have not checked the radio amp, but I think the drain is not enought to keed a piece of equiptment warm. It seems like all the guys I need in my job are beening replace with younger guys that think they know it all. This problem I have with my car was there when I bought the car. I have the first year of the change over to GM. This problem might be really hard to find. Do you know what the contact switch under the hood that opens (or closes) when the hood is open does? When I have time, I will block that switch and the door switch and let the car set for a hour then watch my dc amp probe while removing more fuses maybe I can narrow the problem down. Thanks Larry
