Here in Europe on the Autobahn and
on Swiss mountain raods with my 2000 Aero 5spd (230Hp)
before I upgraded to 260 Hp.
When it was stock the only cars I could not deal with
on the Autobahn were:
M5
M3
740
S600
540i
S4
S6
Porsche other pure sports cars
Cars like:
A4
535
S430
E430
330
S3
TT
were all inferior on the Bahn to a 230Hp Aero...
At high altitude, the picture shifts more in favor of
the Aero which then makes quick game out of 540 S6 and 740
cars.
Now the new Aero has 20 more HP which makes it a bit quicker
on the Autobahn.
Since I upgraded, which also removed the speed limiter
om my Aero... the picture is grim for stock German cars
as the Aero will go 162Mph... so now except for a tunned
car and a few Porsche.... can be quite peacefull ;)
Stock S4s and S600 also have to give up once in a while
cause the Aero simply has more top end...
In the end, the Aero is most fun at mid speeds where
it benefits from its Turbo torque... and at altitude
where all the primitive non turbo stuff runs out of steam.
Regards,
Coolknight
